About Dorsal Aircraft

Dorsal Aircraft Corporation (DAC) was formed to develop and commercialize the Dorsal Technology using Dorsal Intermodal Containers as part of the aircraft airframe. This greatly reduces labor and allows unlimited customization of the containers using all the various Dorsal airframes.

Our primary focus is the conversion of existing aircraft using existing, proven off-the-shelf technologies to transport Dorsal Intermodal containers at significantly lower costs of domestic and transoceanic air freight. We project savings of at least 60% over what is possible today with current air-freight infrastructure.

The company is currently working on its first external funding effort to convert two C-130 Hercules aircraft as a functional proof of concept system.
